What happened: The Detroit Tigers beat the Chicago White Sox, 5-4, on Friday night. The Tigers scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning against former Tiger Bruce Rondon for the win. Nicholas Castellanos doubled home the game-tying run and Jeimer Candelario hit a bloop single for the game-winning run. The comeback took right-hander Mike Fiers off the hook. Castellanos starred, both offensively and defensively. The Tigers are 22-28.
