HOUSTON — Michael Fulmer, tell us what you really think.
After the Detroit Tigers’ ace right-hander was lit up by the Houston Astros on Saturday afternoon, he lit up home plate umpire Pat Hoberg, who admittedly had a rough day calling balls and strikes.
“The guy was god-awful today,” Fulmer said. “It was a bad day for him. The guy behind the plate was just god-awful.”
Fulmer allowed seven runs on 10 hits in a 9-1 loss to the Astros. He was chased by back-to-back home runs in the fifth inning, pitching 4u2154 innings.
