PHILADELPHIA — Four hours away from here, the hype train has been moved into another gear.
Casey Mize – you know his name by now, the Detroit Tigers’ No. 1 overall pick in last year’s MLB Draft – did the unthinkable on Monday night, throwing a no-hitter in his first start for Double-A Erie.
Many innings before that, Tigers fans began clamoring for Mize in the major leagues.
