Another week in quarantine has passed, this one much nicer than the last, with still no baseball in sight.
Sure, Major League Baseball keeps floating out potential restart plans — first it was the "Arizona plan," then the "Arizona and Florida" plan, and this week, it was the "Back and playing in big league stadiums by July" plan — but truthfully, they still don't know.
On Friday, commissioner Rob Manfred reiterated in a memo that he was "hopeful" that baseball would have a 2020 season but also, "at the end of the day, our plan for return and the timing will be dictated by our paramount responsibility to protect the healthy of our players, employees, partners, fans and the public.
