Detroit Tigers lose 6-0 in Baltimore, haven't scored in 22 innings

At Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Baltimore

The Detroit Tigers lost to the Baltimore Orioles, 6-0, on Friday night. Right-hander Mike Fiers pitched well, but allowed a pair of home runs and an unlucky bounce off second base. Orioles righty Chris Tillman threw seven shutout innings. The Tigers didn’t do much offensively. They are mired in a 22-inning scoreless streak. They have lost three straight games.

Starting off: In his fourth start of the season, Fiers once again mixed pitches and was effective. He allowed home runs to Manny Machado in the bottom of the first inning and Pedro Alvarez in the fifth.
