Detroit Tigers will look to start the second-to-last series of the year out on a positive note as they match up with the Kansas City Royals.
As it stands, the Tigers are riding a seven-game losing streak, having last won when Matthew Boyd nearly threw a no-hitter on September 17.
Detroit dropped the team’s most recent contest, a 10-4 loss to the Twins, as Minnesota completed a sweep in the Motor City.
Despite multi-hit games from Alex Presley, Nicholas Castellanos and Jose Iglesias, Detroit was unable to overcome the Twins’ offense.
