Sanchez spent the early part of his career in Miami averaging around 20 home runs allowed per season. However, over the next two years he became one of the best pitchers in baseball at keeping the ball in the park, surrendering only 13 home runs in 2013 and 2014. He has allowed 43 in the 36 starts since.
