Detroit Tigers' lapses late lead to blown lead, loss at home to Twins, 4-3

Finally, a home series the Detroit Tigers could hang their hats on.

With the American League Central Division-leading Twins, the Tigers had an opportunity on Monday afternoon to split the four-game series.

Jordan Zimmermann pitched well again. The offense strung together enough hits. They had a lead with five outs to go, but their bullpen couldn’t bolt it down.
