Jeimer Candelario is as confident as ever.
The Detroit Tigers' third baseman isn't concerned, not even in the slightest, about his slow start through 10 games this season.
"For what?" Candelario said. "There's 152 more games."
Candelario, the Tigers' cleanup hitter, entered Wednesday's game 5-for-37 (.135) with two RBIs, four walks and 11 strikeouts in 10 games this season. Many of his swings and misses are on pitches at the top or above the strike zone.
"If you want to put pressure on yourself for the next 152 games, you're not going to live, you're probably going to die," Candelario said.
