The Detroit Tigers have another injury scare to deal with.
Center fielder JaCoby Jones was hit by a pitch on the left wrist in the top of the second inning of Thursday night’s game against the Royals and exited immediately.
Jones was hit by a 95 mph fastball from Royals right-hander Jorge Lopez. He was checked out by head athletic trainer Doug Teter and replaced in center field by Victor Reyes.
