Detroit Tigers hit five home runs in a 13-9 win over the Boston Red Sox in spring training

FORT MYERS, Fla. — It was a day for leaving the yard as the Detroit Tigers hit five home runs, including two by Frank Schwindel, and both teams combined for eight homers in a 13-9 win over the Boston Red Sox at JetBlue Park.

Schwindel, the designated hitter, hit his first two homers of the spring. He had four RBIs.

C.J. Cron hit his second of the spring and had three RBIs. Niko Goodrum hit a solo homer, his first of the spring. Eric Haase hit his second homer of the spring in the ninth.
