This happened. An absolute offensive explosion. On Friday night, the Tigers returned home, ending their road trip from hell, and pummeled the Chicago White Sox, 15-5.
“I always feel like we should play better, but it’s baseball and you will have stretches where you don’t play as well,” Tigers manager Brad Ausmus said. “The fact that we haven’t played as well, we’ve had some injuries, we’ve had a little bit of a tough schedule and we are still in it, I think, bodes well.
