Detroit Tigers: Greene exits, Price update, Cabrera milestone

It’s turning into quite an eventful weekend for the Detroit Tigers.

Friday night, Shane Greene pitched five scoreless innings, but he left after just 74 pitches due to mild ulnar neuritis, which is a compression of the ulnar nerve that causes tingling in the pinky and ring finger on his throwing hand according to MLive.com.

Greene admitted on Friday he was “scared”, yet is hopefully he won’t miss a start.

Meanwhile, ace David Price is ready to make his first start since slipping on a bat trying to cover home plate over a week ago. Technically, Price hasn’t missed a start, but manager Brad Ausmus moved his outing back from Thursday to Saturday against the Cardinals.
