When the Detroit Tigers’ spring training schedule was revealed last fall, he marked it on his calendar. And when he saw his name in the starting lineup on Thursday morning against the Braves, he was ready to go.
“Oh yeah,” the left fielder said. “I’ve been anticipating this one. I was amped up and it felt good.”
How good? “Really good,” he said.
