The Detroit Tigers experimented with starter Daniel Norris yesterday against the Mets. Skipper Ron Gardenhire said that the lefty needed to get out there on the mound and pitch. Despite, putting him in relief Gardenhire maintained that he was a starting pitcher.
Jason Beck, of MLB.com, quoted Gardenhire as saying:
“We’re just going to use everybody everywhere, but he’s a starting pitcher,” Gardenhire said.
Bless You Boys believes that Norris might be headed to the bullpen. The Tigers actions are speaking louder than their words says, Rob Rogacki.
