Detroit Tigers' Christin Stewart crashes into outfield wall, exits game

ANAHEIM, Calif. – Christin Stewart left Monday night’s game against the Los Angeles Angels with an apparent injury.

Stewart, the Detroit Tigers’ left fielder, ran directly into the left field fence while chasing a Kole Calhoun solo home run in the bottom of the fifth inning.

He was attended to by manager Ron Gardenhire and head athletic trainer Doug Teter before walking gingerly off the field. Stewart was replaced in left field by Brandon Dixon.
