Bo Jackson is paying attention to the Detroit Tigers.
Recognized as one of the greatest athletes of all time, Jackson gave right-handed pitcher Casey Mize a shoutout ahead of his MLB debut Wednesday against the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field.
"Congrats on the call up @Casey_Mize and good luck in your MLB debut! #WarDamnEagle," Jackson wrote on Twitter.
Jackson, 57, played for the White Sox in 1991 and 1993 as part of an eight-year MLB career to go with the four years he played in the NFL (1987-90).
