Austin Meadows just continues to hit.
New team, new faces, living out of a hotel — none of it matters for the 26-year-old who was traded from the Tampa Bay Rays to the Detroit Tigers in the final week of spring training.
Meadows is 6-for-13 to start the new chapter of his career, has hits in all four games and has scored five of the Tigers' 11 runs this season.
Since his flyout in the first at-bat of his Tigers career, the 6-foot-3 lefty has reached base in nine of his 15 plate appearances.
