The Detroit Tigers and Oakland Athletics just played a strange game that was a result of a game getting suspended earlier this year. The game was originally a home game for Detroit but resumed in Oakland tonight at the bottom of the seventh inning with the score five to three in favor of the Athletics.
The game proceeded normally after being resumed tonight. David McKay took the mound for the Tigers and pitched the remaining two innings and gave up two runs off of a two-run home run. Despite this, he looked good on the mound and had four strikeouts.
