LAKELAND, Fla. – Justin Wilson was the first to chime in.
“You looked great,” he told Anibal Sanchez, after the Tigers’ right-hander emerged from the training room during Wednesday's game against the Braves.
Mikie Mahtook was next. He could see the stuff from centerfield.
“Your stuff was moving,” he said.
Tyler Collins said he looked good and offered Sanchez some ribs. Michael Fulmer was getting dressed nearby.
“Teach me,” Fulmer said.
Those were the first rave reviews of Sanchez’s impressive outing, his first since he made a minor tweak to his arm slot.
