The Detroit Tigers easily suffered their most humiliating loss of the 2015 season on Saturday night. Not only did they get thumped, 14-3, but they fell to .500 on the season. This prompted Brad Ausmus to close the clubhouse for an undisclosed discussion with his team. Apparently it worked as the Tigers turned the tables on the New York Yankees to avoid a sweep and snap a four-game losing streak by winning 12-4 to give all of the dads of Detroit Tiger fandom a nice present on Father’s Day.
The Tigers clubbed five homers in the onslaught.
