Free Press sports writers Anthony Fenech and George Sipple give their thoughts on the first few games of the Detroti Tigers' 2018 season from Comerica Park.
CHICAGO — There were fist pumps and high fives. A hoot and a holler. The Detroit Tigers did it again. They came back in the ninth inning, in cold weather and flurries, with the wind whipping, and this time, they were rewarded with a win.
For the second time in six games this season, the Tigers erased a multi-run deficit in their final at-bats. Against the Pirates on Opening Day, they scored four times.
