The Detroit Tigers have 2021 Opening Day slated for April 1 at Comerica Park, but in order to get there, they'll have to go through spring training.
Announced Wednesday by MLB, the Tigers' spring schedule begins with an exhibition Feb. 26 against Southeastern University before starting Grapefruit League competition in Tampa with the New York Yankees.
On Feb. 28, the Tigers return to Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium to play the Boston Red Sox.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is unclear if fans will be permitted to attend spring training games.
