MLB commissioner Rob Manfred and the Players Association couldn't seem to agree on anything for months, but most of the disputes stemmed from how much players would get paid for a shortened 2020 season because of the coronavirus pandemic.
With the season starting at the end of July, team members will earn their full prorated salary based on games played. With only 60 games scheduled, that whittles down to just 37% of what they'd typically make in a year.
