For two starts at least, David Price has changed the narrative.
The guy who couldn't win in the playoffs pitched the Boston Red Sox past the Houston Astros in the ALCS in Game 5, and then backed that up with another strong performance Wednesday night against the Dodgers, putting his team halfway to a World Series title.
Price gave up two earned runs while pitching six innings against Los Angeles in Game 2, as J.D. Martinez delivered the go-ahead RBIs of a 4-2 win. Price walked off to a standing ovation at Fenway Park, something that didn't seem possible even earlier this month.
