'Crafty' Mike Fiers tapes A's logo over Tigers cap for post-trade interview

Mike Fiers is solid when it comes to throwing a baseball.

He's exceptional when it comes to arts and crafts.

The veteran right hander was traded by the Detroit Tigers to the Oakland Athletics on Monday, Aug. 6 less than 24 hours after the two teams wrapped up a three-game series at the Oakland Alameda Coliseum.

It was a sudden, post-deadline deal that didn't seem like it would get done a few days earlier, so Fiers had to get creative with his gear during a post-trade interview with Fox Sports Detroit.

We guess the A's ran out of hats for Mike Fiers.
