Cleveland — The Tigers had to rearrange their coaching staff on the fly Tuesday.
Pitching coach Chris Bosio was not with the team, tending to an unidentified medical matter.
“He started feeling not good last night,” manager Ron Gardenhire said. “He went to see the doctors and they are running some tests. He called and said he’s not going to be here tonight. He’s getting tests done and we’ll see how he does.”
Gardenhire would not elaborate any further.
“That’s all we can say,” he said. “Can’t go any further than that — personal reasons and medical reasons.
