DETROIT -- The biggest beneficiary of the unusual three-day weekend induced by miserable April weather might be Chris Bosio.
The Detroit Tigers pitching coach, currently on a leave of absence for health reasons, now has more time to scout the Baltimore Orioles.
Tigers manager Ron Gardenhire said Bosio will remain involved in video analysis and game plan preparation while he's away from the team, an absence that is expected to last at least two weeks.
"We're still talking, we're getting his game reports of how to pitch people. We're still getting the same information that we're using in the dugout," Gardenhire said.
