DETROIT -- Detroit Tigers pitching coach Chris Bosio has returned to the team, cutting short his medical leave of absence after just four days.
Bosio was at Comerica Park on Tuesday and planned to be in the dugout when the Tigers face the Orioles at 6:40 p.m.
Doctors had advised Bosio to go home and rest for two weeks after an unspecified health issue cropped up during last week's trip to Cleveland.
But Tigers manager Ron Gardenhire said Bosio grew antsy during his few days away from the team.
"He called me up a couple days ago and said, 'I'm coming back.
