DETROIT - So much for Buck Farmer's hot start with the Detroit Tigers.
After beginning the season with Triple A Toledo, Farmer was recalled by the Tigers to provide help in the bullpen but instead got two starts and was outstanding in both.
He allowed no earned runs, six hits and three walks while striking out a total of 16 in wins over the White Sox and Angels.
But today, Farmer is looking more like the guy who was winless in six career decisions and had a 6.84 ERA entering his fourth big-league season.
After 2 nearly flawless starts for Tigers, is Buck Farmer here to stay?
