As the Milwaukee Brewers look to improve their roster for before the Aug. 1 trade deadline for the pennant chase, one important acquisition already in-house is close to being ready to help.
Veteran left-hander Justin Wilson, who was signed in spring training while still rehabbing from Tommy John surgery, arrived at American Family Field on Monday before the Brewers' game against the NL Central-leading Cincinnati Reds.
"Getting on that flight today was nice, that's for sure," said Wilson, who underwent surgery June 3, 2022. "I would say it's been a grind, but the care I've had has been great.
