Tyler Alexander was fairly good in this one, but Clippers’ pitching finally quieted the Hens’ offense despite issuing eight walks on Thursday. Alexander allowed two runs on six hits and a walk over 5 2⁄3 innings while striking out five. The Hens did tie things up in the sixth on a Dustin Peterson solo home run. Unfortunately John Schreiber allowed a run in relief and the Hens couldn’t make a late push offensively.
