DETROIT -- Francisco Rodriguez wants his old job back and is no longer being quiet about it.
Approached by a reporter in the team's clubhouse before the game on Tuesday, the Detroit Tigers reliever vented about his lower-profile role and complained about lack of communication from manager Brad Ausmus and pitching coach Rich Dubee.
Rodriguez, who lost his job as the team's closer last month after a series of early-season blowups, told the Detroit News that he's angry about being made a "mop-up guy."
"You talk to Brad more than I have," he told the newspaper.
