CHICAGO -- The bullpen session lasted a few minutes. The bull session lasted much longer.
Under the shaded bench area of the visitor's bullpen at Guaranteed Rate Field, Detroit Tigers prospects Beau Burrows and Matt Manning soaked in the words of pitching coach Rick Anderson and pitchers Michael Fulmer, Matthew Boyd and Alex Wilson, part of a wide-ranging conversation that lasted more than an hour after their last pitch had been thrown Wednesday afternoon.
"They have extreme talent, which has been documented. They also have the willingness to learn and get better," said Boyd. "It has the potential to be an awesome combo.
