After two straight losses on Friday and Saturday, the Mud Hens rebounded to split this four-game set with the Indians, retaining a slim half-game lead over them in the division. Matt Hall’s control issues put him behind the eight-ball on Sunday, but he fought through five walks to go 5 1⁄3 innings of two-run ball with just three punchouts. The game was tied as Hall left the game in trouble in the sixth. However, the Hens answered with single runs in the seventh and eighth, and blew the game open with a five-run ninth inning keyed by home runs from Harold Castro and Christin Stewart.
