The baseball season has been put on hold for at least five days in Traverse City.
The Traverse City Pit Spitters — along with the Great Lakes Resorters and Northern Michigan Dune Bears — announced Sunday that their season has been paused because "players on the teams" have tested positive for COVID-19.
“We have determined that pausing the season for additional testing and a reassessment of the schedule is the best course of action at this time,” Pit Spitters general manager Mickey Graham said in a release.
