Bally Sports Detroit, the home for the Detroit Tigers, Red Wings and Pistons games, announced Monday it's launching a direct-to-consumer streaming service titled Bally Sports+, offering fans a chance to catch their favorite team without a cable subscription.
Bally Sports+ is set to be available for consumers on Thursday. This services comes more than a month after Sinclair Broadcasting Group, which owns the Bally Sports regional networks, announced its plan for standalone streaming services on May 4.
The company's announcement detailed Bally Sports+ will cost $19.99 per month or $189.
