– It’s roster decision time again for the Tigers.
Center fielder Cameron Maybin is finishing his second rehab assignment with the Mud Hens and could be cleared to rejoin the Tigers before they start a three-game series with the Twins Monday. That means somebody will have to be sent back to Toledo, or possibly released, to make room for him on the 25-man roster.
“There will be a conversation,” manager Brad Ausmus said before the game Sunday. “There is more than (one) option on the table.”
Ausmus will confer with general manager Al Avila either tonight or early tomorrow.
