Astros score 5 on Daniel Norris, beat Tigers to finish sweep

DETROIT -- Daniel Norris' encouraging comeback from a season-long groin injury ran out of steam in the fifth inning on Wednesday.

The Houston Astros scored four runs in the fifth against the young lefty to beat the Detroit Tigers 5-4 and complete a three-game sweep at Comerica Park.

Norris had pitched well in two previous outings since coming off the disabled list (against the New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals, no less), and he got off to a strong start against the Astros.

But he was hit hard in the fifth, giving up two doubles, two singles and a critical walk before being lifted.
