CHICAGO -- If you were among those who couldn't understand why the Toledo Mud Hens celebrated with such gusto after clinching a division title this weekend in the Triple-A International League, well, let some former Mud Hens explain it.
"It all comes down to one thing, and that's winning," said Tigers catcher Grayson Greiner, who spent most of the year with the Mud Hens. "That's at any level."
"It just never gets old," said Tigers outfielder Jim Adduci, who spent the first half of the year in Toledo and still vividly remembers his own minor-league title a decade ago.
