DETROIT -- Michael Fulmer's trade value might be at its lowest point in the last two years.
But what about the trade interest in the Detroit Tigers' right-hander? Could that actually go up even as his performance goes down?
There are undoubtedly some teams that think -- or hope -- that Fulmer's recent struggles will prompt Tigers general manager Al Avila to come down from his sky-high asking price.
Don't bet on it.
In fact, it's increasingly difficult to envision a scenario in which Fulmer gets dealt this summer. It's more likely that the Tigers will reopen the phone lines this winter.
