Tyler Alexander continues to impress after a brutal start to the 2019 season. Alexander allowed three runs, but tossed 7 1⁄3 innings with no walks and four strikeouts. Two of the three runs came with Zac Reininger on the mound in the eighth after they stuck with Alexander a bit too long. Meanwhile, the offense struck early and often, racking up 16 hits, including a grand slam from Pete Kozma in the eighth to pull away with the victory.
