Kyle Funkhouser’s path back from injury led him to Louisville, where he played his college ball, on Wednesday night. He wasn’t particularly overpowering or efficient, but threw six innings of shutout ball on three hits and a walk. Meanwhile the Hens’ offense went off in a big way, erupting for 13 runs on 13 hits. Jake Rogers got things started with an RBI single in the second inning. The Hens scored five in the frame, and then scored three runs in both the fourth and fifth inning to run away with the victory. Daz Cameron and Pete Kozma each had four hit games, with Cameron smacking his eighth home run of the year against a position player throwing lobs in the eighth inning.
