LAKELAND, Fla. -- One Tiger picked up a baseball this morning. Another has put the ball down.
Anibal Sanchez reported no soreness after playing catch with pitching coach Rich Dubee, Detroit Tigers manager Brad Ausmus said, but right-handed reliever Alex Wilson reported shoulder soreness Sunday and will be shut down for at least a couple of days.
“It’s all good soreness,” Wilson said. “It’s just a little more sore than normal. Rather than push it when there’s no need to push it right now, we’re going to take a couple days.”
Wilson guessed he would take two or three days off from throwing.
