Anibal plays catch; Wilson to rest shoulder

LAKELAND, Fla. -- News on the Tigers' injury front was encouraging for Anibal Sanchez and discouraging for Alex Wilson.

Sanchez, sidelined since last week with right triceps inflammation, played catch Monday morning with pitching coach Rich Dubee, stretching out to 90 feet on his throws. Sanchez said he felt fine, and manager Brad Ausmus said he looked good.

Sanchez will throw from 90 feet again Tuesday, then stretch out.

"He needs to get out to 120, which could happen in the next couple days, before he gets out on the mound," Ausmus said.
