Detroit – You don’t want to diminish anything about this for Tigers interim closer Joe Jimenez.
After enduring the worst season of his professional career in 2017, after spending the entire winter in Lakeland working to recondition his body, refresh his mind and revitalize his status in the organization, Jimenez on Sunday was selected to represent the Tigers in the 2018 All-Star Game in Washington, D.C.
