Gregory Soto and Matt Hall were each hit hard in succession and the Stripers cruised to a comfortable win on Wednesday. The offense did a pretty nice job responding to Gwinnett’s offense early on, but ran out of gas once Hall allowed them to run away a bit with a four-run sixth inning. Daniel Pinero doubled in Mikie Mahtook in the second inning to match a Stripers’ home run. After Soto allowed three runs in the third inning, the Hens caught them again when Pete Kozma cleared the bases with a triple in the fourth.
