A pair of losses on a quiet day in Tigers’ farm system

With the International and Eastern Leagues on break, it was a quiet day around the Tigers’ farm system. In addition, the Lakeland Flying Tigers were rained out. The most interesting thing in the system on Monday was the no-hitter thrown by GCL Tigers West. Unfortunately, it came against GCL Tigers East.

Lakeland Flying Tigers (postponed)

Lakeland and the Bradenton Marauders were washed out on Monday. They’ll play two on Tuesday instead. Elvin Rodriguez (8-3, 3.12 ERA) gets the start in game one starting at 5:00pm ET.

Brad Bass threw a good game but the offense couldn’t get anything going until a ninth inning rally fell just short.
