The Toledo Mudhens, the AAA affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, have committed the worst crime in the history of sports uniforms.
This weekend, as part of a "May the 4th Be With You" (get it? May 4th, 4th be with you, etc) promotion, the team played an entire baseball game in Star Wars themed Chewbacca uniforms. After hours of extensive research, we were unable to find anything even remotely as horrendous as these duds. The city of Toledo, the Tigers and every baseball purist ever are bowing their collective heads in shame.
