We're less than three weeks away from the 2015 MLB trade deadline, which means there are plenty of rumors swirling around the Detroit Tigers and what they might do on the trade market. Here are three trades they could make at the deadline:
Trade prospects to Athletics for Scott Kazmir
The Detroit Tigers' search for another front-line starting pitcher has landed on Oakland A's veteran lefty Scott Kazmir, as the Tigers scouting staff has been hot on Kazmir's trail in advance of the MLB trade deadline on July 31st.
Via Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle:
The usual crowd of scouts are here for Kazmir's start tonight; the Blue Jays, Tigers, Royals and Yankees are among those represented.

Kazmir, 31, has been dominant as of late, giving up just one earned run over his last three starts (19.1 innings).
Trade prospects to Rockies for John Axford
The Tigers are among the teams that have talked to the Rockies about reliever John Axford, according to Jon Morosi of FOX Sports:
#Tigers among teams that have inquired on #Rockies reliever John Axford. (Of course, Tigers no longer certain to be deadline buyers.)

Trade David Price to Cubs for Javier Baez, prospects
At this point, it's far from a guarantee that Price will be back in Detroit next season as he's hinted at signing elsewhere - especially with the Cubs. Detroit would be smart to deal him at the deadline now in order to get some young players in return for him, and Chicago has as talented of a farm system as anyone, led by Javier Baez.
